How calculations work
Position size = (account equity × risk percentage) ÷ absolute entry-to-stop distance. The calculator assumes each unit moves one USD for every USD price change. Risk/reward compares the potential distance to the target with the distance to the stop. Estimated P/L equals price change × quantity, adjusted for long or short direction.
