Robinhood will report its third-quarter 2026 financial results on October 27 after the US market closes. Event contracts and cryptocurrency trading are among the business lines investors will be watching when the company discusses its performance.
The upcoming results are a useful checkpoint for Robinhood’s push beyond traditional stock and options trading. Its prediction-market business has expanded quickly, but the company has not yet released its third-quarter numbers.
Robinhood says event-contract trading hit 13.6 billion in Q2
In a September 8 company announcement, Robinhood said customers traded 13.6 billion event contracts in the second quarter of 2026. The company also said more than 5 billion contracts traded during the World Cup.
These figures measure the number of contracts traded, not revenue or profit. Trading activity does not necessarily increase earnings at the same rate, since pricing, product mix and costs all matter.
Robinhood used the same announcement to describe additional routing arrangements with Crypto.com and OG.com for selected football-related event contracts. It also pointed to Rothera, a CFTC-licensed exchange and clearinghouse managed independently through its joint venture with Susquehanna International Group, as part of a broader effort to diversify available markets.
October 27 earnings will show whether momentum continued
According to Robinhood’s official investor-relations notice, the company will release results on Tuesday, October 27, after the closing bell. Chief Executive Officer Vlad Tenev and Chief Financial Officer Shiv Verma are scheduled to discuss them at 5 p.m. Eastern Time.
Robinhood’s second-quarter earnings release reported revenue of $1.31 billion, up 32% from a year earlier. Management also highlighted record equity, options and event-contract volumes during that quarter.
Those company-reported results provide a historical baseline. They are not a forecast of future event-contract earnings. Investors should wait for the third-quarter report and management’s accompanying disclosures before drawing conclusions about the latest quarter.

What this means for crypto-focused investors
Robinhood operates both cryptocurrency services and prediction-market products. Their growth rates may vary substantially because they serve different customer needs and operate under different market structures.
Three questions matter after the earnings release: How much did event-contract trading grow? How did crypto transaction activity change? And what did the expanding product lineup cost to operate?
The answers should help investors judge how much Robinhood’s newer trading products contribute to its business, without relying on unverified revenue projections.
