Ripple has introduced an always-on corporate treasury platform that combines AI-based cash management with digital payment rails and a new 24/7 Returns feature for eligible businesses. The company announced the expansion on October 26, with RLUSD—its US-dollar-backed stablecoin—among the qualifying assets mentioned.

The move is aimed at businesses that need to forecast cash, reconcile accounts and move liquidity outside normal banking hours. Ripple says the system connects those jobs through one orchestration layer rather than making corporate finance teams manage separate tools and manual transfers.

How the new Ripple Treasury platform works

Ripple describes an orchestration layer linked to GSmart, its treasury-focused AI tools. The system is designed to coordinate cash positioning, liquidity forecasting, reconciliation, payments and other treasury workflows.

In plain terms, it is meant to move beyond showing a company where its money is. The platform aims to help a finance team decide what action is needed and carry that decision through, subject to the policies and controls set by the customer.

The announcement describes existing enterprise users of Ripple Treasury, including American Airlines, Trax, Christian Louboutin, Subway, Adecco and Kingfisher. That list does not establish that every named customer is already using the new RLUSD returns feature.

RLUSD enters the corporate cash conversation

The new 24/7 Returns capability is designed for eligible customers with qualifying digital assets held in a Ripple wallet, including RLUSD. Ripple says they may be able to generate returns when conventional banking systems are closed, such as overnight, on weekends or holidays.

That wording matters: the feature is subject to program requirements, and the official announcement does not specify a guaranteed yield, a universal rate, or eligibility for every business. It also does not publish a detailed account-level risk model in the release. A potential return is not the same as a bank deposit guarantee.

Ripple says customers will not need to manage the underlying digital-asset transactions themselves. The benefit for treasury teams could be less operational work, but users must still assess counterparty, liquidity, product and legal risks based on the final contractual terms.

Why corporate treasurers are paying attention

The timing follows a shift in how large organizations think about cash buffers. Ripple cited the 2026 Association for Financial Professionals Liquidity Survey, which found that 46% of organizations increased their US cash balances over the preceding year. The survey’s public highlights confirm that result.

Ripple also cited a finding that 86% of treasury professionals said their organizations would consider real-time money market funds if those products complied with investment policies. That statistic measures stated interest, not adoption of Ripple Treasury or RLUSD.

The AFP survey also reported that stablecoins remain in an early stage of corporate use: only 1% of organizations were using or piloting them, and 9% were actively exploring them. Those numbers help put the new product in context. A new enterprise platform does not mean most businesses are already transacting with stablecoins.

What the expansion means for Ripple and the XRP ecosystem

The October 26 product update focuses on corporate cash management, RLUSD and payments infrastructure. It does not announce that an XRP price rally will follow or that all Treasury workflows will run on the XRP Ledger. Investors should separate commercial product features from assumptions about demand for the XRP token.

The new features come during a week when Ripple’s larger institutional blockchain strategy is drawing attention. See BlockBriefing’s report on Ripple Swell 2026 and our coverage of recent RLUSD activity on XRP Ledger for separate context.

Questions businesses should ask before using 24/7 Returns

  • Which companies, jurisdictions, wallets and digital assets qualify for the product?
  • How are returns calculated, what risks apply and can funds be redeemed at any time?
  • How does the service handle custody, operational controls, reconciliation and treasury investment policies?

This report relies on Ripple’s original announcement and AFP’s published survey material. No yield estimate or live price reaction has been invented. Digital assets and investment products can carry loss and liquidity risk.
