Bithumb scheduled Axis Robotics (AXIS) trading against the Korean won to start at noon KST on October 24. The exchange set an opening reference price of 434 won and said users could deposit AXIS only through the Base network.

Bithumb’s notice said deposits and withdrawals would open within two hours of the announcement, subject to its stated requirements. Users should check the official notice for updates before transferring tokens.

Bithumb’s opening restrictions for AXIS

Bithumb said buy orders would be restricted for the first five minutes after trading began. During that period, sell orders priced more than 10% below or 100% above the reference price would also be restricted. For about the first two hours, the exchange said it would accept limit orders only.

The 434-won reference price is not a guaranteed market price. Prices can change once orders enter the market, and limited liquidity at launch can lead to wide spreads and slippage.

Check the Base network before depositing

Bithumb specified Base as the supported deposit network. Users should confirm the ticker, network and receiving address in the exchange’s official interface before sending tokens. A transfer through an unsupported network may be delayed or result in loss of access to the funds.

The listing confirms a new trading route for AXIS on Bithumb. It does not establish the token’s long-term value or investment outlook. For a separate Korean-won listing announced on October 24, see Upbit’s BMT/KRW listing; its network and launch conditions are different.
