Bullish named
Solana market price and chart, Aptos market price and chart and
Ethereum market price and chart as its initial blockchain partners for issuer-sponsored tokenized shares on November 3, 2026, following a demonstration of 61 million tokenized reserved Bullish shares at the New York Stock Exchange. The company said it had already worked with Solana and planned to add Aptos and Ethereum to give issuers more network choices.
According to Bullish’s official November 3 announcement, the October 27 demonstration was conducted with shareholder-services company Equiniti and involved a transfer of reserved BLSH shares on Solana. Bullish said the transfer completed in seconds, while Equiniti administered the shares as transfer agent.
Sixty-one million reserved shares featured in demonstration
The transfer took place during an event hosted at the New York Stock Exchange by Bullish and Equiniti. Executives from the companies presented a mechanism for recording and moving tokenized share interests while maintaining the formal ownership record with an appointed transfer agent.
The figure of 61 million describes tokenized reserved Bullish shares involved in the demonstration, not $61 million in trading proceeds or proof that those shares were newly sold to external investors. Bullish said the reserved shares were intended to support the planned Equiniti acquisition, with the final issuance amount subject to the merger terms.
That distinction is especially important for public-company securities. A transfer demonstration can show the speed of a technical transaction without establishing that all legal, settlement and investor-protection issues have been resolved for unrestricted secondary trading.
Three blockchains intended to support issuer choice
Bullish said Solana provided an initial environment for its equity tokenization effort. It now plans to make comparable capabilities available on Aptos and Ethereum, with further networks possible over time. The three named systems use different consensus, fee and development architectures, and the issuer-sponsored model would need to account for those differences.
The company argues that multi-network support could let issuers reach investors on blockchains they already use. However, no specific launch date was supplied for every proposed integration, and the announcement should not be interpreted as confirmation that full issuer-sponsored share services were already operating on all three networks.
The arrangement is designed to retain the legal register of ownership under the transfer agent rather than replacing traditional company-share records with a freely transferable token alone. Tokenized representations and legally recognized ownership can have different treatment depending on the applicable securities laws and contractual documentation.
Equiniti acquisition remains subject to approvals
Bullish announced an agreement to acquire Equiniti earlier in 2026. The November update said completion remained dependent on regulatory approvals and customary closing conditions. The proposed corporate transaction and the blockchain demonstration are related, but neither proves that the acquisition has closed.
Bullish’s earlier work on issuer-sponsored tokenization was covered in BlockBriefing’s report on the expansion of its tokenized-stock coalition. The latest development adds named network partners and a concrete demonstration to that project, rather than simply repeating its earlier strategic objectives.
For financial institutions considering the technology, relevant questions include custody, shareholder rights, transfer restrictions, settlement finality, cross-chain consistency and technical-security controls. A faster on-chain transfer does not by itself remove the need for securities compliance or operational safeguards.
Tokenization may help issuers automate corporate actions and offer more frequent settlement opportunities, but the extent of those benefits depends on actual market structures and regulatory permissions. Bullish also described an example of distributing a digital access pass to a tokenized shareholder’s wallet, illustrating the potential for direct issuer communication.
The latest confirmed development is selection of three initial blockchain partners and the Solana share-transfer demonstration. Evidence of full multi-chain deployment, additional issuer clients and completed regulatory approvals will be needed to assess how quickly the initiative advances beyond the demonstration stage.
