BitMine Immersion Technologies reported holding 6,060,506 Ether (
ETH market price and chart) as of November 1, bringing its cryptocurrency, cash, marketable securities and specified strategic investment holdings to approximately $14.5 billion, according to a company announcement issued November 2.
In its company-issued disclosure, BitMine valued its ETH position using an Ether price of $2,261. It estimated that its holdings represented 4.9% of an approximately 122.2 million ETH circulating supply, bringing the company close to its stated ambition of accumulating 5% of the network’s supply.
BitMine Details Ethereum and Cash Holdings
Alongside its ETH position, the company reported 216
Bitcoin market price and chart, $498 million in cash and marketable securities, a $180 million investment in Beast Industries and an $82 million position in Eightco Holdings.
The $14.5 billion figure should not be interpreted as the value of Ether alone. It is a company-reported aggregate encompassing crypto assets, liquid resources and other investments. These categories carry different liquidity, market and valuation risks.
BitMine’s valuation represents a snapshot taken at 4:00 p.m. Eastern Time on November 1, rather than a live estimate. The total can change materially as cryptocurrency prices move, and strategic equity stakes do not necessarily have the same liquidity as publicly traded tokens.
More Than Five Million ETH Staked
BitMine said 5,227,037 ETH was staked, with a stated value of approximately $11.8 billion based on its reference Ether price. That is a substantial portion of its reported total ETH holdings.
Staking involves committing ETH to Ethereum’s proof-of-stake consensus system through validators or delegated infrastructure. It may generate rewards, but returns are variable and the activity introduces operational, counterparty and protocol risks. Staked Ether may also be subject to withdrawal queues or other constraints, depending on the method used.
BitMine highlighted its Made in America Validator Network, known as MAVAN, as part of its staking infrastructure. The company discussed a projected annualized rewards figure based on its reported recent yield, but any projection depends on future yields and operating conditions, and should not be read as guaranteed income.
Concentration Raises Questions for Investors
Holding almost 5% of Ethereum’s stated supply makes BitMine’s treasury strategy notable for both the company and the wider digital-asset market. It also concentrates considerable exposure in a single volatile cryptocurrency.
A large corporate ETH position can increase investor sensitivity to changes in Ethereum prices, treasury financing arrangements, staking operations and the company’s ability to realize holdings if cash becomes necessary. The reported percentage is based on BitMine’s disclosed supply estimate, not an independently audited network ownership calculation.
The company named several institutional supporters in its announcement. Those relationships do not remove market risk or establish that its stated accumulation target will be achieved.
Institutional Ethereum Exposure Expands
BitMine’s report adds another data point to the ongoing expansion of corporate digital-asset treasuries, where publicly traded companies hold cryptocurrency directly rather than through conventional cash and securities alone.
BlockBriefing recently reported on Ethereum’s Devcon 8 developer conference, which focuses on protocol research and infrastructure. The industry’s technical development remains distinct from the financial performance of companies that accumulate ETH.
For readers tracking corporate cryptocurrency exposure, the next useful disclosures will be independently verifiable changes in BitMine’s holdings, updated staking balances, realized rewards and any new treasury financing. The November 2 statement is a reported holdings snapshot, not a forecast of Ethereum’s price.
